Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore, was established in 1945 as Arthur Hope College of Technology and later renamed in 1951. GCT Coimbatore has accredited by the NAAC with an A grade. GCT Coimbatore is recognised by the NBA and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi.
Government College of Technology, Coimbatore offers a total of 38 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The courses are offered in the stream of Engineering and Architecture. GCT Coimbatore is an autonomous institution affiliated with Anna University, Chennai.

All necessary that's depends on the person and compare to their education if u need any thing our clg alumi and lots of fund raising pupil are working on it .In GCT food moderate only but in infrastructure lab and sports are good.

Government college of Technology is better in all the aspects. The College has good infrastructure and facilities.
