Admission to veterinary colleges is generally based on the class 12 results. Apart from this, certain universities conduct entrance examination for the above-mentioned course. Veterinary Council of India is in charge of conducting an 'All India Common Entrance examination' (AICEE). This is an all India level test taken by students for admission to undergraduate courses. Students can give this exam in the month of May each year.

You can also take part in All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT). which is also conducted by the veterinary council of India.

Yes, you can get a seat through KCET but for that, u have to score 140+ to secure a rank of 1.7k to 1.8k. It might vary each year.
