You are not eligible for mechanical engineering in Nit Raipur through home state and general category .You rank is 87000.The cosing rank is 42375 for mechanical engineering through home state.So work hard and to score more percentile in April mains so that you may get a seat in Raipur.

Chances of getting into NIT's depends on your rank. You need to get atleast 33000 approx rank in order to get into NIT's in Mechanical branch.
