National Institute of Technology Raipur (NITRR) is a public technical university that was founded in 1956 by Dr Rajendra Prasad and later inaugurated in 1963 by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. NIT Raipur has 19 departments.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of NIT Raipur College is decent; being situated in the city, the campus area is not extensive. The classrooms and labs are well-equipped with Wi-Fi, and other amenities are appropriately arranged. There are 7 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels. The mess and canteen facilities are effectively utilized. Sports and game facilities are exceptional.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure as compared to other NITs is pretty low. There is only one main building and one building for architecture. There are boy hostels only for B.Tech. and limited seats in girls hostel for Masters. The main building has access to everything, including library, labs, etc.
