You can give JEE Mains in 3 consecutive years and JEE Advanced in 2 years. You have not mentioned in which year you have completed your 12 th standard. The year in which you complete your 12 th standard or equivalent exam from that year onwards the count starts.
For example, if you have completed your 12 th standard in 2020. Then you can write JEE Mains 2020, JEE Mains 2021 and JEE Mains 2022. Also you can write JEE Advanced 2020 and JEE Advanced 2021. Irrespective of you attempting the exam or not the count will be added if you have bit attempted in any of the year.
As you have said that you have already completed one JEE Advanced attempt, if you have given JEE Advanced exam in 2020 and provided that you have completed your 12 th standard or equivalent exam is in 2020, then you have only one last attempt left which is JEE Advanced 2021 that means this year's exam. So you are not eligible for next year JEE Advanced exam. In the same way if you have given JEE Mains exam in 2020 and provided that you have completed your 12 th standard in 2020, then you can write JEE Mains exam in 2021 and JEE Mains exam in 2022.
Hope this helps you.
Thank you.
