hello sir/ madam,for a general categorised student,if one scores 120 out of 200 in WBJEE, then as per stats, will he or she be able to secure a seat in the electrical stream in Jadavpur University?

As you know Jadavpur University is one of the best universities in India and top ranked in engineering through WBJEE. As per previous few years data for electrical engineering cutoff rank remains within 400. For 120 marks your approximate rank would be around 4000. So with such score getting any branch in JU is difficult. For branches like Electrical as you mentioned you need to score above 170 as it could be a safe score to get a rank below 400. So if you belong to general category you need to score that much to get admission in JU through counseling.
