Hello Aspirant,
To know whether you are eligible you should satisfy all the eligibility criteria listed below:
1.Student must be an Indian citizen or abroad citizen of India.
2.The Student must be completed the primary medical qualification, which is accepted by the Indian Embassy & to be recognized as a medical practitioner in the country.
3.It is compulsory to provide required documents proof to support candidates passed final examination and primary medical qualification.
It is better to read the screening test rules & regulations on Graduate Medical Education and the Eligibility Certificate Regulations issued by the MCI ( Medical Council of India). Students with medical degree from New Zealand, United Kingdom, Australia, USA and Canada are exempted. Students belonging to other countries need to clear MCI/FMGE test to practice in India.
Listed below are the main documents needed to appear for FMGE/MCI Screening Test:
Date of birth proof
Copy of applicant passport/Nationality Proof (e.g. Voters ID, Pan Card)
Copy of 10+2 result certificate issued by the respective Board of Examination
Certificate of passing primary medical qualification i.e. MBBS or equivalent with mark sheet.
Copies of degrees need to be submitted by the candidate which is duly attested by a Gazetted Officer and self-certified. The degrees should be attested by the Embassy of India.
Internship certificate (if any which is done abroad)
Eligibility certificate issued by MCI (if available)
If the certificates are in language other than English / Hindi. (need to be translated copies).
Equivalence Certificate : From Association of Indian Universities (for 10+2 abroad)
