Hello Aspirant,
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 51150 - 57500 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing SC rank for NIT Durgapur was :-
- Electronics and Communication Engineering branch - 3301 (Home state quota)
- Computer Science and Engineering branch - 1987 (Home state quota)
And your SC rank is expected to be around 3000 .
So you have quite good chances to get NIT Durgapur with ECE branch but not CSE branch even if you have Home state quota.
On such rank you can also go for following IIITs :-
- Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management Gwalior - Integrated B. Tech.(IT) and M. Tech (IT) (3224)
- Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Kancheepuram - Computer Science and Engineering (4093)
- Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Kilohrad, Sonepat, Haryana - Computer Science and Engineering (5650)
- Pt. Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacture Jabalpur - Electronics and Communication Engineering (5229)
And some more. You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Talking about drop year, it is a good score. I will suggest you to go for JoSSA counselling and JEE Advanced. If results are not satisfactory in the counselling and JEE Advanced then you can think about drop year. But for now you have other chances left for this session.
