NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) is located in Bengaluru and was established in 2001. The educational institution has received autonomous status by UGC. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, accredited by NAAC with A Grade, its programmes are accredited by NBA and approved by AICTE. The Institute has 120+ courses, 36+ institutes and around 20,543+ current students. It offers several courses such as BE, MBA, MTech, MCA, MSc, PhD, Diploma and Automotive Master Trainer courses. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) and Nitte School of Management (NSM) is collaborated with North Dakota State University (NDSU), Fargo, USA to create two new centres of Excellence namely Centre for Systems Innovations and Centre for Global Studies in NMIT/NSM campus.

Placements: Almost 70-80% of the students got placed during our time. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Epsilon, TCS, DXC, MindTree, Cognizant and many Japanese companies visit our campus. Internships are provided for many students. Various roles like developer, programmer, tester, associate software engineer, systems engineer and many other roles were offered.

Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi is given for the entire campus, has average infrastructure,. There are labs for each practical subject, and special research labs are also established recently. Library, gym, canteen, medical facilities for emergency and various other facilities are provided. Hostel rooms are worth the money paid, and mess food is good overall.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and very friendly with students. We can clear our doubts at any time, and we can discuss any mental problems if we have any. Many faculty members are PhD holders, so there is no need to worry about the quality of teaching. The course curriculum is modified based on industry standards and requirements. As it is an autonomous college, modification of the curriculum is not difficult.
