Well if you are willing to do engineering then there are lot of advantages.
The career options after graduating are widespread. Not only the technical field and corporate sector but you can even go for banking, MBA, teaching sector, scientific research, Investor and what not.
If I talk about the disadvantages then the fee structure and the amount of competition you have in engineering can not be compared with any other degree.
