Hey aspirant

Bachelor of Technology, B.Tech. and Bachelor of Science, B.Sc. are both undergraduate courses for science students in various disciplines.

B.Tech is for 4 years duration, in which the students are facilitated with technical and practical knowledge of their stream. If you are from a reputed college with good score, you may get placed in a MNC by some top recruiters of the technical industry. After B.Tech, you can appear for GATE, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, for admission to prestigious institutions for M.Tech degree.

B.Sc. is of 3 years duration, and the students are given basic and theoretical knowledge of their subjects. After B.Sc, you can appear in IIT JAM, Joint Admission for Masters to get admission in M.Sc. at IITs. This stream will further lead to Ph.D. and thus you can get a  job as an assistant professor or lecturer in government degree college or university through NET, JRF.

Hence, the choice depends on you and the institution you are about to enter. Both the courses are different from each other and you can go for any of them as per your interest and determination.

All the best

Hello,

Both the branches are awesome and can give you job. But which branch to choose depends upon your interest. I will give you some insights into both the branches so that it will be easy for you to understand -

Duration - Bsc is of 3 years and btech is of 4 years. So now you decide the time span you are willing to give.

Syllabus - Bsc has theoritical Syllabus while btech has Technical and more practical syllabus. So you decide whether you want technical knowledge or theoritical.

Pressure of studies - Bsc has literally no pressure you can easily score good marks but Btech has bit of more studies and concepts.

Why to choose bsc/btech - If you are more toward research or any kind of government job then go for bsc it will give you enough time for preparation. If you are interested in technical type of jobs then go for Btech
