Hello student ,
So basically AIQ is for all the NEET candidates who wants medical seat in any part of India and State quota is for those students who wants to get a medical seat in their own state irrespective of whether it is private or government .
The seats of all the Government Medical and Dental Colleges in India through NEET are divided into two quotas namely -
All India Quota(15%) and State Quota(85%).
This means 15% of the total seats available in the Government Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges are under the All India Quota which is also known as the Central Pool. The counseling for such seats are conducted by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). The counseling for remaining 85% seats are conducted by the respective State authorities.
Also, for the 15% All India Quota seats, all the candidates who appeared in NEET UG 2021 and qualified the exam are eligible to participate in the counseling process whereas for 85% State Quota seats, the candidates are also required to fulfill the domicile criteria as laid down by the authority responsible for the NEET counselling of a particular state.
Hello,
If you want to go to another state for admission may be it is government or private AIQ quota will be applicable for you.
If you're seeking admission in your home state then only state quota is applicable.
If you want nay government or private college in other state you must go for All India Counselling.
Hope it helps.
