Hello,

The eligibility criteria of CAT exam are

• The candidates  who holds Bachelor’s Degree from any UGC recognized University/ Institute can apply for the exam.
• The candidates  who have completed their graduation in B.Tech/B.E from any recognized University/ Institute are also eligible for the exam.
• Also, the final year students of UG can also appear for CAT.

So, you can appear for CAT in your final year and also after completing your graduation. But, you can not appear for the exam in your 2nd year.
