Hi, I am GOKUL. I am from chennai. I got 120 in neet 2019 will i get goverment college or private college.
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
As per the mark you have mentioned, it is way too less from the basic cutoff which is eligible to obtain a seat in a medical college.
Although the cutoff is different based upon the caste of the individual, the cut off declared for the year 2019 are as follows,
For general category it is 701-134.
For SC/ST/OBC category it is 113-107.
For unreserved PwD Candidates it is 133-120.
Therefore, it is highly unsure that you will obtain a seat in government medical college through counselling.
Hereby, I recommend that you join a coaching institution and prepare well to appear for the next year. If your score is good, you will get seated in a good medical college and can have better education than joining a private medical college now and have a low grade medicine practice.
Prepare well!
All the best!!
Hello Gokul
If you are getting 120 in nEET then it is pretty clear that you are weak in whole concepts and knowlwdge. It is obvious that you can't get any college with this marks until you are a NRI.
So, if you really want to get an MBBS seat then drop 1 year and come back with a bang like David Warner.
