Hi, I got Cutoff of 161 for veterinary course,will I able to get seat in Tamilnadu Veterinary Colleges?

There are only handful number of veterinary sciences seats in the state of Tamil Nadu. The number of seats is so limited that it pales in comparison to the number of applicants. Of the total number of seats available, 85 % of the seats are reserved for the Home State Quota students i.e.  for students of Tamil Nadu having a valid domicile certificate to claim their seat. The remaining 15% of the seats is allotted to the All India Quota students i.e. students from all other states of India apart from Tamil Nadu.

Sure the number of seats have increased in recent years and there is slight chances that the cutoff may drop still it can not be said for sure that you will get a government seat.
