Hey there!

For you to get an idea on both the universities let me give you some details on both the universities.

In sastra university the placements are decent. The average package over there is around 9.5LPA  and the highest package is about 28.5LPA . The highest packages and the top companies will come to the college only for the main branches like cse and ece who are more suitable for software jobs. There are some top companies which visit the campus for mechanical branch too. Some of the big companies are AMAZON CISCO TCS TIGER analysis etc. https://www.careers360.com/university/shanmugha-arts-science-technology-research-and-academy-thanjavur

In amrita vishwa vidyapeetham , coimbatore , this campus is mainly known for mechanical engineering. amrita coimbatore, around 30 companies arrive for campus selection of which around 10 are core. The amrita university placements are a lot betetr than sastra . The highest package at amrita is around 43LPA  and the average package would be around 5.5LPA. https://www.careers360.com/colleges/amrita-school-of-engineering-coimbatore

But for choosing colleges you have to consider many other things rather than just placements. I would suggest you to join amrita university as it is more recognised and a deemed college sastra isn't a proper deemed college. But choose on the basis of your comfort. At last it's the student who has to grow.

Hope this helps!

thank you, feel free to ask questions any time

Hello Dear,
It depends on what all basis do you judge a university, and what all factors do you consider while deciding between universities.According to the placements percentage both college stand at almost the same position.

For the infrastructure and environment wise you need to personally visit the campus and decide by yourself as different people have different likes and dislikes. Both are good in every thing .
Thank you
I hope this is helpful for you.
