Hello Anshi,

You can give both of the exam JEE is the National level Exam for the admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.

You need to devide the time properly for your boards & JEE Main Exam. With the correct preparation strategy, you can achieve the results that you want in both the examinations.

Know your Syllabus Well : It is essential that you know what topics you have to cover for the examination. Board exams cover only 12th standard syllabus whereas JEE Main covers both 11th and 12th standard syllabus. Therefore, you should know what topics and subjects are likely to appear for the examinations.

Create a Time Table : Divide your syllabus and allot specific timings per day for a subject. The timings should be devided in such a way that at least some topics of each subject are covered per day. Since JEE Main also consists of the 11th standard syllabus, make some time in the evening or morning for the topics related to the 11th standard. Timetables will help you stay on track to complete the syllabus.

Develop your Daily Targets : Make your daily targets in such a way that the entire syllabus will be completed well before time so that enough days are left for revision. The main focus should be on completing 12th standard syllabus for the board examinations.  it is advised that some part of the syllabus is completed in the daily targets along with the 12th standard syllabus.

Practise MCQ questions : Multiple Choice Questions will be there in the JEE Main examination. Solving MCQ’s per day will allow you to revise constantly will also provide a base for the extensive descriptive answers of class 12th board examinations. Keep solving a few MCQ questions every day for better preparation.

Practise with the Sample papers & join Mock test also to analyze your performance.

Hi Anshi

The fact is boards are the basis of what comes in entrance examinations. The difference between boards and JEE is the type of writing as in board you have to be desciptive and in jee you need short answers and swiftness. You should know that if your concept is clear then you can click in both the exams. Firstly you need clean sweep all the text books and remember the concepts and understand the problems you do then after once you clear the concept go for higher books and definitely you will clear the exams. You for boards solve the test papers and just read the answers in test papers these will give you brief idea about how to write in boards as you know the concept the way of writing will be the only problem and that will be solved by test papers. For jee just solve as much questions as much..

Best of luck

Hopefully my answer helped you.

HELLO ANSHI

It is a concern for most students on – How to perform well in the board exams along with preparing for JEE entrance? Is it possible to prepare both efficiently? Well, yes it is. All you need is just a strategy . The syllabus for both CBSE board and JEE entrance comprises of topics in the subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
Moreover, the CBSE syllabus acts as a smaller subset of the syllabus for JEE entrance. An interesting fact is that preparing for CBSE boards is like warming up for the JEE entrance exam.

Confidence
The important ingredient for the JEE entrance success is the confidence – “yes, I can”. Confidence without practice, no perfect preparation plan is of no use!

Motivation
Moving towards your goal without the sense of motivation will not take you anywhere. Ask yourself with – ‘What?’ & ‘Why?’ before jumping to ‘How?’ and find out the answer to ‘How?’.

Planning
You have got to prepare for JEE entrance & CBSE boards and do what not. How will you do that? Divide your day into 3 consecutive parts :
The subjects in which you are most effective
The subjects in which you are least effective
The subjects in which you are moderately effective.
Pick your topics for preparation accordingly.

Plan your week ahead
Draw timelines and you must impose deadlines for yourself.
Follow 3-pool formula-
Which means dividing your topics into 3 different categories:

1. Strong

2. Not so strong

3. Weak Strong

While planning your week, pick up the topics from the pools which you aim to transfer topics from ‘not-so-strong’ to ‘strong’!!

Power ‘breaks’
Do you know that the way our human brain functions require small breaks to increase our efficiency efforts? Give your brain a little rest by giving a try with any of the recreational activity – music, hobby, etc… A 10-15 min breaks are enough to recharge and then gear up for more work!

Build Strong Foundation In MPC Concepts
If you are clear with the concepts, it will be easy for you to understand on “how to solve a question?”.
Discuss with your classmates/friends on the topics which you are not very clear. Ask questions to your teachers. Never move ahead without getting a concept crystal clear!

Previous papers
Solve the previous year papers to get a gist of the kind of questions, and the pattern, especially on CBSE boards, there is always a pattern & a pool of questions from where the questions will be asked.

Self-assessment
Well, how do you understand if you are strong at topics? You must take timed tests. Then assess your solutions, and analyse the mistakes you have committed
Taking timed tests will help you with the entire JEE preparation.

HOPE IT HELPS

ALL THE BEST
