Hello!!
So if you enrolled in any coaching institute then first of all practice all their sheets and material then buy any book for your personal reference but if you are preparing for CLAT through self study then buy Arihant (Red color book) which i personally referred for CLAT. It is a nice book and has all the concepts covered. You can also go for previous year questions which you will be able to find on google practice them as well!!
For legal reasoning practice is the key! So in legal reasoning you have legal knowledge as well as the legal reasoning questions including principle. For legal knowledge be updated with the current affairs as well as the cases which are in news the relevant articles mentioned in those cases. You do not have to read the entire judgments.. but just be aware what is happenning in the legal world for this doing Current affairs daily is enough and then for legal reasoning just focus on the principle what ever is there in principle is the law applicable in that question. Stick to the principle. Practice online for legal reasoning and also solve the past year questions!
All the best!
