The placement at psg tech are very good every branch and the students of every department get equal opportunity at the time of placements. All branch are worth to study at psg . The placement depends on students also . It depends on their cgpa, their interests and the amount of hard work they did for the career else everything is good.

Now as a girl student your preference order for branch choosing should be EC<CSE<IT/ instrumentation.

Else the placement are really good.

Any course is worth studying at PSG TECH it's only about your personal interest, all department students get equal opportunities during placements. It's only you who has to shape yourself based on your preferences

Actually… Yeah to a certain extent. But the rules of the placement cell are very strict and rigid, can even call it to be idiotic, as idiotic as the placement lead KALYAN. The thing is you must be very careful in choosing the company you get placed. Because, once placed, you cannot attend any company’s placement process, except for intern companies(which are actually very less in number). Because of this idiotic policy, I would say many bright minds of PSG Tech aren’t reaching the heights that they deserve. This is a curse of PSG Tech with respect to placements. A student can be allowed to atleast attend the companies higher than his pay or every student can be given 2 chances. That sounds OK, than the current idiotic policy...

In Instrumentation department will surely be preferred by girls...

Around 50% will be girls...
