Dear Student,

M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology is a two-year postgraduate programme focusing on advancing students in fundamental knowledge of food processing, food production and food safety.

Eligibility Criteria :-

For National Students - B.Sc. Biology B.Sc. Bio-Chemistry or B.Sc. Food Science Tech with minimum 50% marks.

For International Students - The eligibility criteria for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.

The admission process in most institutes admits students based on their performance in a relevant entrance test like GATE, TANCET, and more.

Some colleges and universities also admit students based on their merit at the level of graduation while some conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission. Therefore, the process generally varies across institutes.
