  • Practice at least 100 numericals or mcqs after completing each chapter to have good command over concepts

  • Revise :- there's no point of preparing for the exam if you couldn't recall anything in the examination hall, so you should stress on revision as well.

  • Solve previous year question papers and mock test papers for your jee mains and wbjee ;- You should solve these , it will give you idea of types of questions asked and their difficulty level and will help you a lot.

Many students have cleared Jee Main and WBJEE without taking coaching classes. It all depends on yoir dedication, determination and hard work. First make a proper and programmatic study schedule which you'll follow throughout your preparation. Then go through the entire syllabus. Instead of choosing a random topic from the syllabus, you must break your preparation into sections. Sub-topics from each section should be selected and then strategy on clearing concepts must be made. Never leave any concepts doubtful or unsolved. Nake short notes if possible becaus these will help you during revision. Once done with the syllabus and concept clarity, you should move towards solving previous years papers. Give mock tests as much as possible. Time management is one more important thing you should look upon. Remember that practise will increase your efficiency. So try to give at least one mock test each week. NCERT Textbooks are best for preparation of both WBJEE and Jee Main. Along with this, you can also for go for H C Verma for Physics, R D Sharma for Objective Mathematics, O P Tandon for Chemistry.

Hey there

Ofcourse you can prepare for jee mains and WBJEE at home without coaching but for that you need to be very much consistent, hard working and have to be self motivated. Following are the tips for you

1. There are three subjects you have to prepare which is PCM. Try to have a look at the previous year paper pattern.

2. Maths is an important section and in order to solve it just solve books like NCERT, RD SHARMA.

2. CHEMISTRY it's the most scoring so for this NCERT is enough though you can refer standard books like P bahadur, ms chauhan, op tondon.

3. Physics is a subject which hunts a lot of students so just stick with HC Verma and NCERT you can refer pradeep for theory.

Before at least 2 months from the exam complete the syllabus at least 90% and start practicing mocks.

Hello student you can prepare yourself as many students clear the Jee main entrance examination with the help of self study. Just make sure you're consistent and study daily target wise just because you're not attending coaching that's doesn't mean you'll postponed your daily target.
Prefer NCERT to build your basic concept and make sure you do each and every example and exercise questions of Ncert before jumping to a reference book after completing ncert thoroughly refer to the supplement books as mentioned below -
Concept of physics by HC VERMA
OP TONDON CHEMISTRY
Rd Sharma Mathematics
Arihant practice book for jee main.

You can also subscribe to careers360 knockout package for preparing and qualifying the entrance examination.
