How can I get into MIT ....plz explain whole procedure and Eligibility I'm currently student of class 12?

Hi student,

Admission to any of the undergraduate programs offered by the university is subject to merit and rank secured by the candidate in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling. Candidates who have been shortlisted are allotted courses based on merit.

• The selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects reduced to 200 (Mathematics – 100, Physics + Chemistry – 100 in the qualifying examination)
• Only candidates native of Tamil Nadu can apply for TNEA counselling. Other state candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII standard in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
• Nativity certificate is required under certain circumstances
• Sri Lankan Tamil refugee candidates are eligible to apply for TNEA.

Eligibility:

Candidates for admission into the first semester of the 8 semester B.E/B.Tech. degree programme should have passed:

1. The Higher Secondary Examination of ( 12th) Curriculum (Academic Stream ) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry as three or four subjects of the study prescribed under part III or any other examination of any university or authority accepted by the syndicate of the Anna University as equivalent thereto.

OR

2. The eligibility criteria such as marks, number of attempts and Physical fitness shall be as prescribed by the syndicate of the Anna University from time to time.
3. The candidate shall have not completed 21 years of age as on first of July of the year of application . For candidates belonging to SC/ST the age limit is relaxable by three years.
4.any other Examination of any other authority accepted by the syndicate of the Anna University as equivalent thereto.
