How can I prepare for ca from class 11?

CA program is conducted by the ICAI (Indian Chartered Accountants Institute)
The basic eligibility criteria for taking up a CA course is the completion of 10+2 Classes with a minimum of 50 % aggregate from a recognized institute and/or board.
The CA exam takes place twice a year in April and October, respectively
- After clearing the Common Proficiency Test, students can register for IPCC (Integrated Professional Proficiency Test) by registering 9 months before the exam.
- You are required to register for an Articleship and practice CA before registering for the final CA exam which takes place during the last 6 months of the articles along with GMCS.
- If you do your graduation you will be exempted from appearing for entrance test and directly apply for IPCC course.
- Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude are some of the subjects of the entrance test syllabus.
CA is divided into three parts and you need to clear each level.
CA Foundation is an entry level exam . The exam mostly focus on the application, comprehension, and knowledge aspects of chartered accountancy.
- Each paper is of 100 marks
Second exam would be intermediate level This includes present-day knowledge of technology and skills required to undertake charted accounting.
CA final exam is after clearing both groups of CA intermediate.
If you fail in any subject you will be required to do all exams again .
You need to have strong base in topics like Core accounting of a firm , Designing an efficient financial system to combat its risk etc .
