Hello Rocky
Important topics in Chemistry: Electrochemistry, Biomolecules, Carbonyl compounds, Co-ordination compounds and P block. Although most probably each topic will have one question, mark -wise there is not much importance but in terms of quality of questions there can be. Extra importance to topics which are common to Physics and Chemistry, like KTG, Nuclear chemistry, Thermodynamics should be given. These topics double the scoring chances overall.
Best books to be fully prepared:
PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY, BY OP TANDON AND AS SINGH
MODERN APPROACH TO CHEMICAL CALCULATIONS AN INTRODUCTION TO THE MOLE CONCEPT, BY RC MUKHERJEE
ORGANIC CHEMISTRY FOR COMPETITIONS, BY OP TANDON
ORGANIC CHEMISTRY BY ROBERT THORNTON MORRISON
INORGANIC CHEMISTRY FOR COMPETITIONS BY OP TANDON
CONCISE INORGANIC CHEMISTRY BY JD LEE
Practice Online: DO practice giving mock test on the computer screen to get adjusted to the examination conditions.
Hey Rocky,
Just do the effective revision for chemistry in these 30 days. Solve the previous year papers of chemistry chapterwise from 2009 onwards. Revise organic chemistry properly, it will boost your preparation in physical chemistry. For inorganic chemistry i will suggest you to study coordination compounds, chemical bonding and d&f block elements due to shortage of time.
Good luck !
