The role of a perfusionist is to handle  the heart-lung machine during a cardiac surgery and related functions. They are also crucial for organ harvesting and protection of organs. BSc (Perfusion Technology) is a 3-year course involving six months of internship. After completing your degree, you can either go for a job or can go for postgraduate studies in the same subject. Eligibility is Physics, Chemistry & Biology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2.
