Hello Shipra, thanks for connecting with career360. We hope we will solve your query in the best way .
To prepare for any exam you should be focused and determined your goal where you want to see yourself after BTEch. You should prepare according to the cutoff of the branch you want to get.
Be thorough with the Syllabus- Go through the topics that are mentioned in the syllabus of MHT CET. Identify the topics in which you are good and others in which you are weak and accordingly manage your time. I would also suggest see which topics are given more weightage on a regular basis . Try to focus more on them but that does not mean that you neglect other topics. Solve the past years question papers- The more you solve the past years question papers the better it will be. It will help you to understand which questions could be solved quickly and which of them will be time consuming. Practice as many questions as possible as there is a saying which I keep reiterating that practice makes a man perfect.
Draw a daily, weekly and Monthly Time Table – Keep short term goals to be completed on a daily basis. Then medium term goals on a weekly basis and long term goals for the monthly basis. Make sure that before you proceed towards the new topic you are thorough with the previous topic. It is advisable not to leave anything for the last minute. Revision- Do not forget to revise whatever you have studied. Ignoring revision might prove to be slightly fateful on the exam day.
I hope this will help you. Best of luck for your future Shipra.
The level of MHCET for engineering admissions is going to get tougher and at par with JEE from 2018, to help students prepare well for both state and national level entrance exams, the Maharashtra state government has decided to raise the standard of the state CET from this year.
But you should not take the additional pressure of it right now and concentrate on your JEE Preparation because if you can prepare well for JEE Main then you will be able to catch up any level of MHT CET.
All the very best and good luck.
Remember once concepts of a particular topic are clear than whatever book you refer doesnt hold much importance. Always practice questions from variety of books.
