Hello Nitish !!
It is completely your decision whether to take a drop or not. Many students who are determined for a certain degree have been seen taking drop 3-4 times and then getting their dream course . But this is not true with everyone. If you have options that it is not important to be in certain profession, then you can change the course you were preparing for .
A gap due to drop affects the candidate every time till he/she gets the seat. There is a feeling that all my known ones have got a seat and I am studying to get admission. The hopes of parents and not able to fulfill them along with your dreams can lead to depression. These happen with almost every dropper. But then encouragement , and motivating speeches and quotes help you to get over these feelings and work again .
In today's world it is absolutely not necessary to go and study in a core field . Opportunities are there everywhere.
A MBBS aspirant can end up doing BDS, BHMS,BAMS , Pharmacy , Biotechnology , Agriculture , Physiotherapy, BASLP, Vetirinary etc .
Other course are Hotel Management , LLB, BA, study language and literature etc ,the list never ends.
There are plenty to courses in the world. There may be some more or less scopes , but with determination and hard work one can achieve the best .
All the best.
Hope this helps .
Despite of a 2 years gap you can opt for any stream you desire. There is no such restrictions,Yes question may arise for a gap of 2 years but that is not the factor. Now coming to the point there are 3 type of studies after 12 Science.
1.Graduation Normal- Here you might get a BSc degree with your preference,as it can be physics,Chemistry, Biology, Maths,Etc.You will be Specialized in that very subject. This degree might help you to crack Government jobs and as well as a job of teacher or a lecturer in a Renowned University.
2.B Tech-It is technical degree course where you need to study various sectors of the applications of Science i.e Machines, Gadgets and many more. Here you will have a depth Knowledge of Technology and technical field depending upon your discipline. Here also there is oppurtunity for Govt jobs and also an I industry oriented Companies.
3.Medical NEET- This will help you to be a Doctor or Medical line specialist. This will let you become the doctor and specialist on your field. Here you can go for your own Chambers or for Practice in Govt Hospitals.
There are many many studies apart from this 3.Its is not possible to mention here. But try to go to the stream which you like the most.Dont think of other factors just be into it.
Good Luck!
Regards Ankit!!
Dear a gap of 1 or 2 will not make much difference.During placements some of the companies ask for the gap not to be more than 2 years.Personally,i don't advise anyone to drop a year just for the preparation of a competition exam like JEE.Specially if you have only studied for board exams in 11th and 12th and know nothing about JEE or your JEE MAINS rank this year is low then please dont't drop a year.Because after one year it is mostly probable that you won't get any good NIT or IIT because students are there preparing from very first of 11 th class and some from even 9th class. So,you will have to compete with them.I will advise you to start your engineering if you are getting any good govt. or private college and do well there because a one year drop will only be a waste of time for you and will bring stress and tension to you. Some hard working students gets depressed in the drop year which affect their whole engineering. So, take a decision as you wish.I will advise a drop only if you are improving your rank.
Hope this helps.
