Though IIITs are generally good and are a brand name in India, the case with IIIT Trichy is a different story. It was established in 2013 and they still do not have a permanent campus. Currently it is running in NIT Trichy and even the faculty is shared. So you are bound to face problems in studies and placement. Moreover their fees is too high, close to 2.5 Laks per year.

I'd suggest that you go for other options which have proven placement records by investing the same money.
