How is marks calculated in MAT?

The result of MAT will be declared in the last week of December. Along with MAT result 2017, the examination authority will release the scorecard. To check MAT December 2017, candidates have to enter roll number, form number and test month. MAT scorecard displays a candidate’s composite, sectional score and percentile. MAT December scores will be accepted by 228 management institutes for MBA and allied programmes. The composite score in MAT is scaled in the range 199 to 801. The sectional scores are scaled in the range 0 to 100.
Calculation of Scores:
Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning score: The range of these scores are scaled from 0 to 100 and scores below 20 or above 80 are rare
Composite score: This score is prepared on the basis of the marks of first four sections. For all the sections, equal weightage is assigned. These scores range between 199 and 801. Scores such as below 200 or above 800 are uncommon. The scores below 200 and above 800 are reported as 199 and 801, respectively
Indian and Global Environment score: A separate score is being reported for this particular section. The score ranges between 0 to 100 and again a score below 20 and above 80 are rare here.
