How is mechanical engineering at nit dgp?
First of all, NIT Durgapur is among top NITs of the country, so it has very good infrastructure as well as academic structure.
As far as mechanical engineering branch is concerned, it is known to be a evergreen branch. The college has all the required laboratories and faculties for the branch.
The placements although are not excellent but very good keeping the current scenario of mechanical engineering in mind.
Faculties are average but helpful if you are interested in research work.
So if you are interested in mechanical engineering, it will be a good college.

Let me tell you that Mechanical Engineering is the one of the best Engineering trade in NIT Durgapur. The infrastructure NIT Durgapur is well furnished with full of lush green campus.
The faculties are highly qualified from renowned universities and are very cooperative with students.
The placement cell of the college is also very active and privides placements to most of its students in the reputed companies specially for Mechanical students.

Where ever you choose mechanical stream,you won't be regret..It's placement record is good and also you can prepare for GATE AND ESE as seats in ESE for mechanical stream is quite good and also in PSUs..So you can go with mechanical stream of NIT DGP...
