Nit raipur's mining engineering is one of the best over the nation but only in terms of placement... If u want quality theoretical knowledge u can get here. The professors there are very much experienced and knowledgeable.

Mining is one of the good branches of NIT Raipur. If you get placed in Coal India, you can expect a starting package of 10 lpa, and Coal India recruites a lot of students from NIT Raipur.

But you will be placed near mine areas and not in big cities, so keep that in mind before taking mining.
