How is the chemical engineering at jadavpur university?

Jadavpur university is a government university located in Kolkata. It has been ranked 14th among engineering institutes in India in 2019 by NIRF(national institutional ranking framework).
PLACEMENT - The college is very good in terms of placements. About 70-80% students are placed every year and some of the students go for higher studies. C ompanies like Indian Oil, BPCL, ONGC, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., Vedanta, Honeywell, etc., visit the campus for placements of the chemical engineering department.
INFRASTRUCTURE - The infrastructure of the college is good but a little old. The labs are equipped with all the modern facilities. The Jadavpur university's chemical engineering department is one of the oldest in India.
FACULTY - The teachers of the college are well-qualified and have great knowledge. They are helpful and very supportive.
