As far as hostel facilities are concerned, you get away more than what you pay for (25 rupees per month). Hostels have single rooms for each person with a fan, a tubelight, a bed, almirah, a study table and a chair.
Hostel internet (LAN only) is from 8.00 pm to 9.00 am on all days except sunday, when it's available for entire day. Internet speed is comparatively faster.
Running water 24/7, the hostel is reasonably clean. Only major drawback is that food is served twice daily at morning and at night. Powrcuts are practically unheard of. You will get heaters, no washing machine. Well-euipped Gym facility is available and well maintained field. There is a hostel common room with a TV, Carrom board, a TT board, and a library.
