Thapar is top ranked Institution and deemed to be University . It has been ranked 20 in India and 1 in Punjab by NIRF ( MHRD Government of India). Infrastructure is well developed in this college. There are specialized and well equipped laboratories especially for business incubation in biofertilizer and biopesticide production, food processing and analysis;pilot scale lab.; temperature controlled rooms classified as growth rooms, cold room, inoculation rooms, instrumentation room. There are well equipped offices with personal computers, printers, fax machine, scanner, DLP projector, digital camera, reprography, networking and library and seminar hall equipped with audio-visual systems. Classes are well maintained too.
