What is the eligiblity criteria for liberal arts and sciences in Thapar institute?

According to the official notice of Thapar Institute,the criteria for eligibility are:
- The Candidate has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of any three subjects (One of the subjects must be English).
- The school may consider applications from students with extraordinary achievements in areas such as sports, music, dance, painting, social work, software development etc. with just a pass mark in their 10+2 examination.
- Any 3 year diploma after 10 Th or 10+2 is also considered
- However 40% weightage is given in 10+2 exam and 20% weightage will be given to written essay competition.
- 15% weightage would be given on group discussion and 25% on personal interview. Hope this helps

To study liberal arts and Science in Thapar institute there are all total three ways. You can get into either BSc liberal arts and Science honours or BA in liberal arts and Science honours or BBA in liberal arts and Science honours. All three courses costs the same of 12 lacs.
The eligibility criteria is
You must should have pass your ten plus two level with minimum 60% marks(5% relaxation for SC and ST) in aggregate of top three subjects including English. Otherwise you also can do it after doing three years of any diploma course.
