Information Science and Engineering is a branch you can go for if you have the passion to study Computer science engineering but lack the marks to pursue it for some reason. I found positive reviews about CMRIT's ISE branch. The labs are good and faculty is also good. Plus they conduct competitive coding, hackathons, etc so it will really be a great learning experience. But honestly in the time of placements, all comes down to how much strong your resume is because companies offer average salary to freshers. If you want good package you need to work hard. It also deends on which companies visit that particular year and their internal dynamics and policies. Hope this answer helps!
