NIT surat mechanical engineering placements

Placements are good for the branch. The packages offered are good compared to other NITs. The average placement goes up to around 6.5 LPA. Companies like Google also visit the campus. The highest salary package goes up to 15 lacs per annum.

Around 60% of the students get placed in mechanical department.  Companies like L&T, Tata Motors, BHEL, etc., arrive at the campus to take interviews.

Here is the detailed 2018-19 Placement Report of SVNIT Surat for Mechanical Branch-

There were 208 students in the Mechanical branch.

Out of them, 199 were eligible and 149 got placed i.e. 74.87%.

The Average package for Mechanical was 5.70 LPA.

The Highest package was 10.10 LPA.

In 2017-2018 , the average package for Mechanical was 6.09 LPA.
