Hello greetings
Earlier JEE main was organised by CBSE but from this year onwards the JEE main exam will be organised by National testing agency ,the national testing agency has not mentioned abytanyt regarding the number of attempts in JEE main exam but if you look at the previous years number of attempts declared by CBSE then a candidate can appear for at maximum 3 times for JEE main starting from class 12 in a consecutive years so if you look at the similar trends then there are only 3 attempt for JEE main exam and remember one attempt will be counted for one year that is if you appear for both the session that is January in April then it will be counted as one.
Hello Mukund,
Originally every candidate has a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main. Candidates can appear twice for the entrance test in a year. So this is used in correlation with the original number of attempts, from 2019 onwards, JEE Main number of attempts in total is six.
Hope this will help.
