In 2008 theJawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, 2008 split the university back into four universities,Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University,Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad andJawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.
