Hello Gauresh!
To be a NTSE scholar is not an easy nut to crack. A national level exam has a very tough competition so you need to work extremely hard for this. Every year, close to 50,00000 students apply for it and only 1000 scholarships are awarded.
As this exam is conducted in 2 levels for class 10. These 2 levels comprise of SAT, MAT and students potential test.
As there is a huge syllabus, instead of focusing on studying hours, you should focus on the strategy of completing the syllabus on time. I would suggest you to break all syllabus into modules and then allocate a specific time for every module. As you are concerned about hours of studying, try to have AT LEAST 3 hours of study every day.
Tips and tricks to become a NTSE Scholar:
~ Go through NCERT books of 9th and 10th thoroughly.
~ Must refer to some GK books for questions that are not a part of NCERT.
~ Regular practice is the key to success. Solve previous year question papers to know exam pattern.
Hope this helps. If you have any doubts, feel free to drop a comment below.
All the best!!
Hi,
NTSE(National Talent Search Examination) is not easy to crack without proper preparation. Well, you can prepare well for the NTSE if you know the starting point and all the necessary steps. You can go through the NTSE Mock Test, Model Question Papers, Sample Papers and Previous Year NTSE Question Papers with Answers these can be included in your preparation to crack NTSE with flying colours. These resources available for free in NTSE official website you can just click on it and start your preparation.
For class X the number of questions allocated for each subject will be:
- Physics - 12
- Chemistry - 11
- Biology - 12
- Mathematics - 20
- History - 10
- Geography - 10
- Pol. Science - 10
- Economics - 5
My advice is to read the textbook daily for 45 minutes and solve some SAT Problems for 45 Minutes and Mathematics Problems for 45 Minutes without fail. This helps you to increase the speed of your problem-solving skills. Totally this counts for 2 hours 15 Minutes. This will be a good strategy for you but you need to do it on a daily basis never compromising on yourself to do. I would like to add on to this that it's not the number of hours we study, its the passion to study something new that drives you straight to your success road. If you have that thirsty of learning of something new, you need not to count the number of hours it just goes like going to a picnic tour with lots of happiness. I hope you got that what I am supposed to say. I hereby think I clarified all your queries related to ntse study preparation. Any other queries are always welcome at any time.
I think this helps you crack NTSE with flying colour:)
Keep Smiling:)
Wish you All the Very Best!!:)
