How many marks are required to get a seat in aiims for a person belonging to obc?

The cutoff is the minimum set of marks that are set by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, in order to select the deserving candidates. Based on the cut-off marks candidates are selected for the further selection process.
The cut-off marks are different on the basis of the category. Following are the AIIMS Cut-Off Marks for the candidates.
· For General and OBC Category Candidates, the minimum cut-off score is 60%.
· For SC/ST Candidates, the minimum cut-off score is 50%. Candidates scoring more than the cut off marks will be eligible for further process. The AIIMS Selection Process also includes a Tie-Breaker Criteria Method.
· If more than two candidates score the same number of marks then, the candidates scoring more marks in Biology is given the higher rank.
· If the tie still exists, then the candidate with more marks in Chemistry is given a higher rank.
· If the tie still persists, then the applicant with less number of wrong answers are given priority.
· If the tie still exists, then the applicant older in age is given the priority.
The Tie-Breaking Criteria is used to Normalize the Score of the candidates.
