Hello dear Abhinav
As per latest available information ,in 2018 in Maharashtra state, There were about 2950 government medical

In gross Maharashtra is the 2 nd state in India

which are totalling about 6000-6500 in no.
Recently due to recontruction if mci to nmc
body there will be no restrictions to increase
no of seats on medical college. Aslo our
health minister jpnadda announced
recently to increase about 10000 -11000
medical seats in India will leeds to large to
increase in seats in Maharashtra in upcoming
year
But in 2019 the number of government seats through NEET are given below
Total government MBBS seats in Maharashtra 2019 = 3050 seats ,and there are 22 government colleges which are holding these seats
If we talk about increase :
Increase in seats = 3050-2950= 100
Hope it will clear all your doubt
