- Government Colleges - 272 colleges - 41,388 seats
- Private Colleges including Deemed Universities - 260 colleges - 35,540 seats
- AIIMS & JIPMER institutions - 17 institutes - 1405 seats
- Total - 549 colleges - 78,333 seats
