Hello,

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a scholarship exam conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The exam is conducted for students studying in class 10th. NTSE is conducted at two stages. The stage 1 examination is conducted at the state level and the stage 2 exam is conducted at national level by NCERT. The students who qualify the stage 1 exam are eligible for the next stage. Around 9-10 lacs students apply for the stage 1 exam all over the India and around 4000-5000 students are selected for stage 2. From tamilnadu around 460 students are selected for NTSE Stage 2.

Hope it helps!

Good luck!
