The GATE examination's score is considered for admission of M.E. / M.Tech courses in different colleges.
The cut off score for this admission varies college by college for every year and depends on various factors such as number of students , availability of seats and merit of students.
The difference between score of selected and non selected students can be in points if there is very tough competition and this occurs many times especially for the top institutes offering this course such as IITs, NITs and government colleges.
