JIPMER MBBS is a highly competitive exam. JIPMER is easier than national-level medical entrance exams like NEET and AIIMS. However, because of huge number of students competing for only 200 seats, it is difficult to get admission in JIPMER. Candidates must finish the JIPMER MBBS syllabus thoroughly in order to score high.

For a UR candidate, it is advised to aim for more than 160 marks in JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam. For OBC candidate, more than 153 marks should get admission. Sc candidates must focus on getting more than 142 marks, and ST candidates must try to get more than 123 marks.

Considering that the level of competition increases each day, it is further advised that you keep your target at least 10-15 more marks than the cut off.
