Hello Momin,
National Institue of Srinagar is an institue of national importance which gives admission based on an all India level exam,Joint Engineering Exam(JEE Mains) . It consists of three subjects Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics. Until last year (2018 ) It was held in pen paper mode as well as online computer based mode but from 2019, it will be only held in online computer based mode .
JEE mains is being held in two phases in the current year 2019-the first phase was held in January and the second phase will be taking place in April 2019. A student can participate in both the phases of the exam and the phase in which he has better marks will be considered for his ranking.JEE mains is also an eligibilty test for JEE Advanced which is an admission test for IITs and IIScs.
Now coming to your question regarding cutoffs for NIT Srinagar,
See, the cutoffs for a paticular institue keep on varying between a certain high and low percentile. This means that you cannot predetermine the cutoff based on last year. The [articular year may see a high cutoff for NIT SRINAGAR due to higher number of students interested in taking admission in NIT SRINAGAR while the other year the cutoff may fall tremendously.
But you can always have an idea about the level of hardwork you need to put in to acheve admission in your dream institute. Here are the cutoff for the year 2018 :-
FOR GENERAL CATEGORY AND HOME STATE QUOTA :-
(CLOSING RANKS VS MARKS)
1.Chemical Enginnering- 218372 (54-55 out of 360)

5.Electrical Engineering-76853(88-89 out of 360)

(NOTE:- Please note that I have not taken special round(1&2) into consideration while mentioning closing ranks because sometimes special round takes place while sometimes it does not)
NIT Srinagar has placed 140+ students of its current batch(2018-2019) with its placement drive still continuing.Besides this the reckoning mountains of kashmir and the splendid beauty of its campus attaracts a large number of students towards it.
