I don't know approximately but as per previous year above 200 Mark's is equals to 99.5 percentile. This year students have to attend 4 sessions in JEE Main exam. So we don't have idea. Based on those 4 sessions they will take the percentile. I think 98 percentile equals to 200-210.
Hello Ayush,
It is difficult to predict because the percentile chances from phase to phase. Percentile is used to normalise the difficulty level barrier. For example, if a student gets 280/300 in a tough paper and a student gets 290/300 in a easy paper then to equalise there scores this percentile concent has been brought into picture. Based on previous year's trends it can be expected that to get 98 percentage you must try to get 180 to 200 marks in JEE Mains 2021 upcoming exam.
I hope this helps you.
All The Best!!
