HOW MUCH MARKS SHOULD I TAKE TO GET ADMISSION IN GOVERNMENT MBBS COLLEGE HYDERABAD.. I AM FROM MAHARASTRA.. MY CATEGORY IS SC
See this questions is the one asked by the students frequently but I would like to tell you that you can't predict the cutoff of any of the medical college in across the country as they are dependent on various aspects of the examination like how many people appear for the NEET examination so far how was the paper it's toughess and various aspects of the examination so I would like to tell you that you study hard
Through AIQ , cut off for sc is near 460.
To get admission in govt college hyderabad , you need to score about 470-480.
But cut off varies , as we saw this year , there was a drastic change in cut off so i would suggest you to keep a higher target and do lot of mock test and previous year question paper too so that you get an idea of your performance.
All the very best
Hope it helps
Since you are from other state so you only can get under All India Quota.
Now the thing is AIQ for Hyderabad as per 2017 results was around 530 or 535 for general category.
-
But for SC category it seems to be somewhat lower by 40 marks than general category.
-
So a score of around 480 or more would be safe.
If you are attempting to get into a Government Medical College of Hyderabad to the 15% all India quota why I need then as of last year you must be getting above 460 to 470 out of 720
However to be on the safer side I would advise you to try and score above 480 to 500 to get into a better and decent government college of the state your aiming for
If you are applying via the state quota reservations possibly they would have been a drop in this required marks by 30 or 40 marks
However most importantly you must prepare yourself well by giving regular MCQ examinations to make you well versed across all the chapters among the three subjects and you will also be able to test yourself in terms of time management and question selection skills and help you improve on your weaknesses
Try making notes and going to them regularly paying special attention to chapters of electrodynamics, thermodynamics, mechanics, optics and circuit diagrams in physics, co-ordinate and covalent bonding as well as reaction mechanism in chemistry and tables and flow diagrams depicting the life cycles in microbiology as well the phylogenetic classification and characters of Botany and Zoology
Try to be good with your daily schedule and time management dedicating 8 to 10 hours a day, starting the day with numericals and after a couple of hours of which you should be dedicating 4 to 5 hours of biology and then after taking rest try to end the day with a couple of hours of organic or inorganic chemistry
Hope this helps, thank you
Hopefully it helps

hi sushant, it all depends on whether you have state quota or not , but i would suggest that aim for 500 plus for your reservation, aim high , i know but absolutely doable , so aim for it.NEET 2018 Examination is most likely to be held on 10th May (Thursday) 2018 . NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018.CBSE conducts NEET for admission across all medical colleges in india except aiims, and jipmer. The exam pattern is as follows:-
physics-45 questions each carrying 4 marks
chemistry-45 questions,each carrying 4 marks
and biology 90 questions each carrying 4 marks as well.hope this helps good luck
The marks required is cannot be said as it varies from year to year.
It depends on the difficulty of the questions asked.
So my suggestion is that you get more marks as high as possible so that you can get the seat.
All the best...
