TheGovernment College Of Technology (GCT)
, formerly known as the Arthur Hope College of Technology was established in 1945. Government College of Technology offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a number of specializations within the field of engineering. The college accepts 80-120 students in each field of undergraduate study and 18-20 students in each postgraduate course. B.Tech/B.E. courses span over 4 years while M.E/M.S. courses are offered over a course of 2 years.

and GATEReservation:Backward classes/ most backward classes/ denotified communities/ scheduled classes/ scheduled tribes as per rules of the government of Tamil Nadu.At the postgraduate level, some seats are reserved for government employees.
